Below is an overview of some of the most common and popular types of doors with illustrative images. Please feel free to download technical information here

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OFFER THIN SHEET METALS DOORS AS ADVERTISED BY OTHERS ONLINE. WE ONLY OFFER QUALITY, HEAVY DUTY DOORS. PLEASE SEEOVERVIEW BELOW:

Solid Security Doors

We specialise in the design and fabrication of security steel doors, providing a sustainable security solution for buildings and properties where this is a significant factor

Techniko steel doors are fully fabricated, heavy duty doors, manufactured using extruded pre-galvanised profile, welded and polished, EPDM weather seal throughout and finished to a high standard and workmanship.

They are not comparable to pressed/folded sheet doors that other manufacturers offer. Designed to be heavy duty, secure and long lasting.

Typically, a Techniko single security doorset would be supplied with one 5 lever British Standard sashlock and lever handles, two British Standard deadlocks (top and bottom) along with dog bolts to the hinges.

Additional security hardware and features can be added to your specification where required.

Fire Exit Doors

Solid emergency Fire exit door with panic hardware

Fire exits doors are typically a solid single or double doorset fitted with panic exit hardware, signage and stays. All doorsets are supplied with a low level thresh and can include optional hardware extras such as outside access devices, push pads, kick plates and drop bars.

Manufactured in the same way as our security doorsets, they are heavy duty and design to last!

Fire exit doorsets may also include a fully or part louvred design, the addition of vision panels or a strip glazing door design if required.

Glazed Entrance Doors and Screens

Entrance doors and screens often comprise of a wide variety of designs with a huge choice of glazing options; from a small square window, half glazed doors to fully glazed steel doors or a commonly implemented strip glazed design. Adding glazing to a steel door doesn’t compromise security as we only use security glass and a fully fabricated design for enhanced security compared to traditional screw-in glazed panels. We offer a wide range of hardware option as well as door automation and access control

Louvred Doors - Boiler House, Plant Room & Bin Store Doors

Welded section of a louvred steel door

Typically featuring a part or full louvered design, such steel doors are an ideal security solution to boiler houses, server roomsplant & control rooms in commercial settings as well as communal bin stores found in residential flats and commercial out houses. These doors allow sufficient air flow required whilst maintaining the level of security needed to avoid unauthorised entry.
These doorsets can be supplied with or without a low level thresh as is often required where large machinery or wheelie bins are moved through these doors.
Techniko louvred steel doors are fully welded, making them stronger and more secure than many other glazed-in type louvred doors available.

Vision Panel Doors

Vision panel doors are ideal for both internal and external use with a variety of designs available. We offer a glaze in design where security is not a priority, such as internal hospital or airport doors and a fabricated design, typically down the leading edge; where the doors are fitted externally and require security, such as building and commercial entrances
